General questions

If you feel unwell, report it to the Backoffice between 08:30 and 9:00 AM. You must also inform your supervisor on the project you are working on.
Important: You must report your sickness yourself. Your housemate cannot do this for you.

Fill out the ‘Holiday Request Form’ at least 3 weeks before your rotation. The form can be found in the welcome document. Submit it to your project coordinator. Once your request is approved, you may go on holiday. Do not leave without informing us, as accommodation costs may otherwise be deducted from your salary.

If you know someone who wants to work at Gilde Groep, please contact your project coordinator.

In the event of an accident or near-miss, report it immediately to your supervisor and contact the DGG project coordinator. For any unsafe situations at work, contact the DGG project coordinator right away.

Housing

No, it is not permitted to have guests in the housing.

Yes, please refer to the document with the house rules.

Report the damage by sending an email with attached photos to facility@degildegroep.nl.

Payroll & administration

Salaries are paid weekly, in the week after you have worked.

Payslips are published in HelloFlex.

We use a digital time registration system called Time (an online platform). A separate document explaining how to use Time will be sent to you.

Yes, you will receive additional pay for overtime, night shifts, and weekend work. These allowances are applied according to the applicable collective labor agreements (CAO).

Holiday pay is paid weekly and amounts to 8.33% of your gross annual salary. Total vacation days consist of statutory vacation days and additional vacation days. Additional vacation days are paid out weekly in cash.

a. Travel to the Netherlands: A net reimbursement for travel costs from your home country to the Netherlands is calculated at €0.19 per km, divided over the number of weeks you work in the Netherlands. If you stay longer than your rotation, this reimbursement no longer applies.

b. Travel to the project: A net reimbursement for travel from your accommodation to the project. Payment depends on the applicable CAO.

Healthcare & support

At De Gilde Groep, you are insured with ZEM. Your insurance is active as long as your contract is valid. If you go on holiday, the insurance will remain active.
The costs in 2025 are €38.02 and €1.19 per week, which will be deducted from your salary.
