Safety - Policy Statement VGWM
The management of De Gilde Groep is aware of its responsibility regarding the care for Safety, Health, Well-being, and Environment (VGWM).
Creating and maintaining safe and environmentally responsible working conditions are important objectives in our organization and an integral part of the overall business policy. The VGWM policy aims to prevent personal injury, fires, damage, and exposure to hazardous substances, as well as to minimize negative effects on the environment as much as possible. In addition, in the case of (partial) disability after, for example, an accident or occupational illness, appropriate work within the organization will be sought in consultation with the Occupational Health Service and other experts. To the best of our ability, we will act within our organization in such a way that the Safety, Health, Well-being, and Environment of our employees, temporary workers, borrowed workers, clients, visitors, and other stakeholders are guaranteed, and they are not exposed to unacceptable risks, discrimination, harassment, or violence. When placing employees, clear agreements will be made with the client to respect safety regulations.
It will be ensured that government regulations are strictly followed, and continuous improvement will be pursued in the areas of Safety, Health, Well-being, and Environment. If changing laws and standards, or changes in the field of Safety, Health, Well-being, and Environment, provide cause, the policy will be tightened. Adjustments will also be made if internal developments give reason for them.
Within the company, everyone will be informed and kept up to date regarding the rules and agreements related to VGWM. This is the individual and collective responsibility of all employees. The management will stay informed about the implementation and compliance with this policy through regular and structured meetings. Based on the experience gained, De Gilde Groep’s policy will be reviewed at least once a year and adjusted if necessary.
