
E&I Technician
What will you do?
As an E&I Electrician, you will work on process installations within the field of electrical engineering and instrumentation in The Netherlands. Your primary focus will be on electrical assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical and control systems. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as installing, assembling, and disassembling various complex equipment.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities are diverse and can vary depending on the project or client.
- Perform automation and control wiring.
- Build and connect transformers (Medium & High Voltage).
- Install and maintain power circuit breakers (Medium & High Voltage).
- Connect control panels and distribution boards.
- Execute cable jointing for multicore and single-core cables.
- Install cable trays and perform ironworks.
- Connect motors, pumps, and valves; handle replacements and repairs.
- Lay and pull electrical cables; install cableways.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Make junction box connections using glands such as Hawke and CMP.
- Work with P&ID diagrams, hook-ups, and Bills of Materials

What do we expect from you?
Experienced in electrical engineering and instrumentation
Skilled in reading technical drawings and schematics
Familiar with process installations and industrial environments
Hands-on experience with multicore cable connections and junction boxes
Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Knowledge of medium and high voltage systems
Comfortable working with complex equipment and control systems
