Trainee Concrete Carpenter – Location Rotterdam

As a trainee concrete carpenter, you’ll get started right away. We work on large civil concrete structures, also known as “artworks.” These include large concrete elements such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and locks. You will learn about formwork construction, measurement, and concrete pouring. Over time, you’ll gain more knowledge and take on greater responsibility. Ultimately, upon completing the training, you can proudly call yourself a master in craftsmanship!

We start the day with a good cup of coffee, and together with your colleagues, you discuss the tasks for the day. Tasks are divided, and you get to work in teams. You’ll get to know all aspects of the work by rotating through different teams. Before you know it, it’s time for lunch. You’ll eat on-site with your colleagues, getting to know them even better.

No two days are ever the same! Thankfully, as large projects often come with tight deadlines, there’s always plenty to do. Every day, you’ll see progress being made.

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals who have been in the trade for many years. This means there’s a lot to learn, not just from the project itself but especially from your colleagues. Before you know it, the day is over, and it’s time to leave the construction site clean and ready for the next day. Who knows what challenges await tomorrow!
